The Borough of Manhattan Community College’s Office of Internships and Experiential Learning will pilot a new initiative with the Computer Information Systems department for winter session 2017 through summer 2017.

What is a BMCC apprentice?

A BMCC apprentice can be any student who is receiving professional development training, paired with industry mentor sessions which culminates in training through paid summer placements.

The BMCC Apprenticeship Incubator has BIG goals, but we are in our pilot year, so dates are subject to minor changes.

Incubator Program Overview :

• Information Sessions and Recruiting – November & December 2016
• Professional Development Training – Winter Session 2017
• Industry Mentor Sessions – February & March 2017
• Placement Process – March & April 2017
• Student Experience (internship, externship, bootcamp training) – Summer 2017
